This is a brilliant light when the power goes off. . . It will easily illuminate the entire room when you connect the thumb to figure out what to do next. . . I have two of them, they are standard Makita quality and design, which has never been to me yet. Rating: 5 / 5

Very handy light for many purposes. I’ll take this camping, working on cars worked on other projects, and it is built sturdy. I think it is a 13 watt incandescent bulb, which is pretty bright. It is burning brightly, until it turns off. I guess it works 3-4 hours per full charge for the 1834 battery (2, 6 amp hour). Rating: 5 / 5
